Shop Maker V4 User Guide

Shop MakerIntroduction

Shop Maker V4 provides a simple way for a business to publish their products and trade online. It provides a point and click environment for the owner to manage their products, orders and users as well as setting up your system to look and work the way you want.

How does it work?

When the customer enters your shop, they are shown your shops homepage, which can be a category, or a custom page designed by you. When the customer has located the item they wish to purchase, they click the buy button. This adds the item to their shopping list and takes them to the shopping list page. From here they can choose to continue shopping or checkout.

Once the shopper has entered their details, the payment methods are displayed. A payment method will usually be a system-generated button to a Payment Service Provider (PSP), which contains the order number and the amount. When the shopper clicks the payment button, they are taken to your PSP where they enter their card details in to finish the transaction. Once the transaction is successful, the PSP will email you with the order number and the transaction details. You then locate the order in the Shop Maker order management where you can view the order details, user details, change the order status, print an invoice or send the customer an email notification.

There are lots of other features built in to Shop Maker, which this document will describe. If there is anything that is unclear, please contact us and we will do our best to explain.
